Berytech Fab Lab supports Mechatronics in Lebanon

The Berytech Fab Lab team attended and sponsored the Mechatronics Competition recently organized by the AMICAL Club at the Lebanese University, held on October 18th, 2017 at the Palais des Congres in Dbayeh.

 

The team presented the newly inaugurated Fab Lab in Berytech’s Mar Roukoz Innovation Park, explaining to attendees of the Engineering job fair – concurrently scheduled with the competition, the different services and programs available.

 

The Mechatronics Competition

The Mechatronics Competition was open to all university students across Lebanon, and the challenge was to design a robot that can autonomously solve a maze and be driven to play a modified game of chess. The top three winning teams of the Mechatronics Competition were offered complimentary memberships for up to six months by Berytech to use its Fab Lab facility.
