Berytech wrapped the 2018 edition of The Startup Booster Track competition giving Lebanese entrepreneurs the chance to benefit from a customized support program offered by THE NEXT SOCIETY. Out of 21 applicants, 8 were shortlisted to pitch to a jury who chose the winning startups: Bakala, FabricAID and Spike.

Berytech led a delegation of 15 startups from 7 Mediterranean countries, to take part in the Web Summit in Lisbon: the biggest digital and technology event of the world. Part of The Next Society program, the objective of the mission focused on showcasing innovative startups from the Mediterranean and supporting them in scaling their activities on the international level.

As part of the activities of the Next Society program, Berytech is leading on an international mission taking 16 startups from the Mediterranean to participate in the Web Summit Conference, known to be the best technology conference on the planet. Startups from Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia are attending from Nov. 5 till Nov. 8 to build connections, gain knowledge from the conferences, network, and maximize their exposure!

Berytech organized a 3-day Technology Transfer Bootcamp through THE NEXT SOCIETY program funded by the European Union. 25 people, forming 14 teams, labored through the intensive training with the aim of understanding the different business aspects of turning their innovative researches into high-potential, successful startups.
