Berytech invites you to attend a talk ” Mindsets: The intersection of Neuroscience and Motivation” by Dr. Nael Alami on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 5h30 pm at Berytech Mathaf, Damascus Road, facing the French Embassy, 10th floor. 

The talk will be delivered by Dr. Nael Alami, a molecular neuroscientist, whose work in St Jude Children’s Hospital, Columbia and Harvard University focused on motor neuron diseases and stem cells. After moving to Stanford University, Dr. Alami started his work on neuroplasticity and the ways our brain develops in response to motivation, mindsets, and learning. He is a published author, Visiting Professor of Education at San Jose State and Stanford.

During the talk, participants will get a glimpse into the latest findings from Stanford University on the science of learning, motivation and the role of mindsets in achievement and resilience. The lecture will result in a better understanding of the importance of mindsets in setting expectations, building self-esteem, and fostering resilience & creativity for ourselves and our teams.
