Berytech Fund II is a 55 million US Dollars Beirut based Venture Capital Fund targeting startups and SMEs in the knowledge economy sector. The funds were received from major banks in Lebanon, to invest in Lebanese businesses, under Circular 331 issued by the Central Bank, an initiative that has played a massive role in the activation of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Lebanon. This fund comes following the extensive support provided by Berytech in the successful building, promotion and management of an ecosystem for start-ups and entrepreneurial companies over many years.
IM Capital provides Matching Capital, Equity Guarantee as well as Technical Assistance and Support to a broad range of qualified early-stage businesses & investors in Lebanon. IM Capital provides investment tools and support directly to early-stage businesses, or indirectly through early-stage investors that include angel investors, venture capital funds, as well as incubators and accelerators. IM Capital is funded under USAID’s MENA Investment Initiative, aiming to creating jobs and spurring private investment.
