Berytech is looking to expand its team by hiring a Business & Finance Advisor.
As a Business & Finance Advisor, you will play a business and finance advisory role to startups in Berytech Support Programs. You will be involved in the business growth and financial viability of the startups and will be responsible for providing expert coaching and training workshops in matters related to Finance, Accounting and Raising funds.
This position requires a team player with leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, coaching skills, a professional and positive attitude and organizational skills. This is a challenging role but at the same time makes available endless opportunities and learning; the applicant is expected to be passionate about entrepreneurship and supporting startups.
This position requires to be present some evenings and on weekends.
SCOPE OF WORK
Key responsibilities: The Business & Finance Advisor will be responsible for providing business and financial expertise to Berytech supported startups. He serves as the key business partner working directly with incubated startups, their founders, and internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations. This would be inclusive but not limited of the following:
Business Analysis: prepares a diagnosis and a business analysis of incubated startups and presents recommendations to Startup founders and Program senior management
Financial Planning: manages the financial planning and analysis effort of startups and forecasts various metrics for financial risks and opportunities.
Financial Statements & Reporting: Assists in the preparation of feasibility studies and business plans for incubated startups, in the reporting of the financial performance and the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reviews.
Processes & Controls: assists the startups in setting monitoring and control systems and developing new processes to support growth.
Operations: assists startups in making sound financial decisions related to pricing and cost savings and helps in identifying sourcing opportunities and benchmarking across suppliers.
New Investment: assists startups in the decision-making process by analyzing new investment and development opportunity.
Monitoring & Evaluation: maintains up-to-date and accurate data collection and uses the management information systems in place
Training Workshops: plans various workshops and trainings for incubated startups and the community and execute the same with the help of team members
