Mapping The Social Enterprise Ecosystem

DOT Lebanon in Partnership with UNESCO, Berytech, Lebanese League for Women in Business, MakeSense & Tahaki Portal have teamed up together in an exercise to map the Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Lebanon, post to the award of a 4 years grant by the Canadian Government to implement a Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship project (Digital Livelihoods – DL) in several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA regions.

As a first step of implementing future programs in Lebanon; there is a need to understand better the Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and the intent of the mapping exercise is to learn about the existing and potential stakeholders that can contribute to the Social Entrepreneur journey mainly in Lebanon.

DOT and its Partners already allocated teams in Akkar, North, Beqaa, South and Nabatiyeh, Beirut and Mount Lebanon as part of this ecosystem mapping.
