After launching of the 3rd edition of the “Women Entrepreneurs” competition, which targets women looking to start innovative businesses, the final jury was held on November 19, at Berytech Digital Park.
Each year, the number of applicants increases and during this edition, 7 women were shortlisted and presented their ideas for the jury, getting the chance to receive a professional and constructive feedback, giving the right direction to grow their business models.

The program aims at encouraging women to innovate and be self-employed and provide the winners with the tailored support program to grow their business ideas and create a viable model. It also combines strategic and reputable partner institutions which believe in women empowerment and collaborate to give them the best support.

2 projects were announced as winners this year, including:
–    1st prize was given to Ms. Roula Kamel Afeiche, who presented a pioneer solution for healthcare and nutrition management, including a financial prize, strategic support, access to Berytech incubator and networking events.
–    2nd prize, presented an appreciation reward for Ms. Randa Farah, co-founder of Lebtivity, a cutting-edge online platform for events and cultural initiatives, who will receive a strategic support and access to networks.
This program evolves every year, attracting passionate women who want to add value to the society and contribute through their own ventures.
