SE Factory Opens Batch 3 Applications

14 weeks of intensive training, 14 graduates, one achievement: Transformation of students with basic technical backgrounds to professional software developers with advanced skills, ready to take the Lebanese tech job market by storm.

With nearly 90% of first batch graduates having already been hired as web developers in companies such as Anghami and Wamda, and 14 new graduates already interviewing and receiving job offers, SE Factory has proven once again, that youth can learn, develop and deliver against all odds once provided the chance.

SE Factory concluded its second cycle on October 21st 2016, in an event where students demonstrated their final technical projects in the presence of local tech companies, universities, media and the startup ecosystem. The event was hosted at the Beirut Digital District, longterm supporters of the program, and the cycle was also supported by the UK Lebanon Tech Hub, Berytech, Roche, and The Asfari Foundation.

SE Factory is a nonprofit, intensive, advanced coding bootcamp for youth from different socio-economic backgrounds, aiming to increase youth employability, improve access to quality technical training, strengthen the Lebanese tech sector, reverse brain drain and enhance community integration and youth empowerment.

SE Factory is now accepting applications for cycle 3, which is due to start in January 2017, with an acceptance target of 15-20 students. Classes will be held at the Beirut Digital District, and applications are now open through the 9th of December. Interested students can apply at http://apply.sefactory.io
