At the end of the training, the participants were given 2 weeks to prepare their pitch presentations prior to the jury day. Three modules were covered over 6 days wrapping up different phases from technology identification, protection, and commercialization to development of a business model, to building financial projections and finally the pitching during the Jury Day that took place on the 2nd of December 2021.

Participants received direct support and guidance from trainer Mohammed Jaafari and one-on-one sessions from pitching expert Giorgio Chemali who provided them with tailored feedback to improve their pitches before the Internal Jury.

At the end of the training, the attendees were able to have a clear understanding of IP and commercialization strategies for their research. They worked to develop and strengthen their business models based on the learning outcomes. They also learned about financial projection and financial models and developed early-stage financial strategies to integrate them in their pitches.

Nine participants presented their innovation and project in front of an internal jury and 6 out of the 9 pitchers were selected to receive vouchers of 1500 euros to be used in supporting their innovation.
