The Femme Francophone Entrepreneure (FFE) competition was created by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in the Middle East and Berytech, with the goal of promoting business development and supporting women’s entrepreneurship in Lebanon.
FFE provides support to women entrepreneurs in launching their businesses through financial assistance and a tailored, enabling environment. AUF awards grants to the winning projects, while Berytech provides the necessary incubation support for business creation. The grant covers the costs of a six-month incubation period.
This incubation helps turn a concept or idea into a functioning business through support in business plan development, fundraising, legal structure setup, organizational design, marketing strategy, equipment acquisition, and team recruitment.
Since 2016, L’Orient-Le Jour has been the media partner of FFE, reinforcing media coverage at every stage of the competition through articles, press releases, and announcements in both print and digital formats.
This year, FFE also benefits from a partnership with the communication agency Graffic Traffic, which will reward one selected team with a full branding and communication package (including professional logo creation, stationery design, and development of a brand identity guide), with an estimated value of €10,000.
FFE offers an opportunity for Francophone women entrepreneurs residing in Lebanon, as well as one regional Francophone woman residing in the countries listed above, and leading startups or SMEs, to compete for the following prizes:
