About the Agrytech Startup Validation Sprint
Under the Agrytech Accelerator Program co-funded by the Embassy of The Kingdom of The Netherlands in Lebanon, Berytech is organizing the Agrytech Startup Validation Sprint to support selected participants in growing their business in the fields of agrifood technology.
The Agrytech Startup Validation Sprint is a promising opportunity for entrepreneurs and startups, working on innovative solutions in Lebanon’s agriculture and food technology sectors.
Over the course of three days (June 20, 24, and 25), a select number of participants will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and receive support to validate their business solutions through workshops and one on one sessions with experts, and then pitch their solutions to a panel of judges.

The winners of this sprint will qualify for the Agrytech Bootcamp, the final selection phase of the
Agrytech Accelerator Program.
WHO CAN APPLY?
To qualify for this sprint, your startup should have:
- At least 2 co-founders with one founder being Lebanese
- An agrifood solution that is science-based or technology-enabled
- At least a prototype of the solution you are developing
The process:
- Submit your application before June 15, 2023
- If selected, you will be contacted to participate in the 3-day Startup Validation Sprint
- At least 2 co-founders must physically attend the 3-day Startup Validation Sprint
- At the end of day 3, you will pitch your idea/solution in front of a jury
The winners will qualify for the Agrytech boot camp; the final selection phase of the Agrytech Accelerator Program.

FAQ
The event will be held physically at Berytech. You will receive all the needed information once you are selected among the teams.
To participate you need to be a team of at least 2 people.
Only registered or non-registered entities with at least an MVP can apply.
Yes! You will have plenty of free time to work on your solution, you just need to make sure to attend all the workshops and be ready for check-in so that the team doesn’t get dismissed from the competition.
