The World Bank Group has partnered with Berytech and the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) to provide capacity building in times of crisis for women who want to grow their businesses and enhance their business model, marketing, financing, and networking opportunities, as well as learn how to be resilient in the face of crisis.

Under this initiative, Berytech and LLWB are selecting 80 business advisors to train them on crisis management so that they can support the women-led businesses admitted to the program.

Through these 2-day training-of-trainers, selected business advisors will be trained on how to help the admitted businesswomen address the new challenges that emerged because of the economic crisis in Lebanon, COVID-19, and the impact of the Beirut explosion.

Topics discussed will revolve around the considerations of women’s challenges in the business world and the implementation of a crisis management framework to understand the crisis impact on the women’s businesses, develop adequate mitigation plans, better navigate the current crises and ensure sustained operations.

Following the training-of-trainers sessions, the advisors will be matched with the businesswomen, and in parallel, each advisor will receive six one-on-one coaching sessions from Berytech and LLWB to discuss challenges encountered while advising the women-led businesses.

Book your spot now to join the next and final 2-day training-of-trainers session happening online on Thursday, March 11, 2021, and Friday, March 12, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

This training is part of the Crisis Management for Women-Led Businesses program, produced as part of the Mashreq Gender Facility MGF, to support the economic mobility of women in Lebanon, helping them to grow sustainable businesses that are market-oriented, profitable, scalable, and which will facilitate job creation or maintain existing jobs.
