Overview

Berytech is looking to hire an Accelerator Program Coordinator. The ACT Smart Innovation Hub is a new approach by Berytech aimed at strengthening business advancement, economic growth, and job creation in the Agri-food and Cleantech sectors in Lebanon. The project will run over 4 years from January 2023 to December 2026. It includes three accelerator programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own the program timeline and coordinate the scheduling of the program activities.
    • Ensure deadlines and responsibilities are met and remain aligned with the team.
    • Extend business or technical support within validation and acceleration activities for startups, and advise and assist entrepreneurs within the scope of your expertise and capacities.
    • Assist in developing, planning, and executing program activities, meetings, and events that drive ACT SMART entrepreneurs towards success.
    • Monitor the performance of startups across different verticals and regularly report on their progress and status, and flag any issues and bottlenecks as they arise.
    • Coordinate with internal and external mentors and stakeholders for the effective implementation of program activities.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
    • Represent Berytech in the local entrepreneurship community, both actively and passively.
    • Participate in Berytech-related events and networking opportunities when called upon.
    • Build and maintain professional relationships with entrepreneurs, ecosystem partners, and the community.
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, or other relevant business fields from an accredited college or university, or STEM degree provided adjoined with relevant business experience.
    • Five or more years of product, project, or program coordination experience.
    • Excellent communications skills in Arabic and English (oral and written).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and people-oriented.
    • Keen interest in startups, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
    • Comfortable to take on a variety of responsibilities.
    • Self-starter, resourceful, Initiative taker, and able to make decisions.
