Overview

The Digital Media Officer supports in implementing Berytech’s digital media plans and in achieving digital marketing goals and objectives.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

  • Liaise with Digital Media Specialist to implement the Digital Marketing and Media plans for
    Berytech and its programs
  • Coordinate directly with the Digital Media Specialist, internal departments, project
    managers and the partners as needed to understand the requirements and briefs to work on
    digital campaigns
  • Assist in running and monitoring digital ads for Berytech and its programs (social and search
    ads)
  • Update the company’s website and mobile app and brainstorm with the Digital Media
    Specialist and C&O Director to suggest methods for improvement
  • Contribute to the development of Berytech’s website and newsletter (web releases, press
    releases, etc.) as needed
  • Help in developing and monitoring ROI and KPIs to improve Berytech’s overall digital
    presence via the various channels (website, email marketing, search marketing among
    others) and help in preparing communication, marketing, and performance analysis reports
  • Undergo the necessary research to scan the digital marketplace to understand competitors’
    positioning and help in optimizing Berytech’s digital presence
  • Stay up to date with worldwide trends and innovative ideas in digital media and marketing
    to apply locally

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Educational Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, advertising or equivalent from an
    accredited university additional certificate is a plus
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in Communications, Digital Marketing and Advertising,
    Digital Production
  • Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus

Additional Skills:

  • Report writing, research, content development, digital marketing, photography and video
    editing is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress
  • Basic Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Basic knowledge and experience in running marketing campaigns on social media and google
    The ideal candidate will have:
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative Abilities: Good presentation and creativity skills. Time Management: The ability to
    work on multiple projects at one time, to work under pressure and to eat deadline. Detail
    Oriented: Good attention to detail and accuracy
