Growth Hacking Consultant – ScaleSmart Program-Act Smart Innovation Hub

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.

Scope of work

The ScaleSmart program seeks a Growth Hacking and Scaling Consultant to advise startups on their Growth strategy. The engagement includes 1 Half Day Workshop and up to 3 one-on-one sessions with the startups for tailored guidance over the duration of 4 months to support the following:

• Defining growth hacking, its relevance at a technology startup, and the data-driven scientific mindset behind optimizing marketing and product metrics
• Explaining customer journeys through the lens of the AARRR (Awareness, Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) framework and discuss strategies for optimizing the path to purchase
• Helping startups identify relevant KPIs/metrics and visualize data effectively across their revenue funnel using data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Applying other growth frameworks like network effects, data-driven segmentations, A/B testing, and the Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) methodology for actionable product-led growth planning. 
• Deep diving into every startup’s growth strategy (customer acquisition, retention strategies, and referral strategies), and give recommendations to meet each startup’s specific challenges.
• Help startups identify tools that will help them scale such as mixpanel
• Assisting startup participants with setting up growth analytics and KPI dashboards during the clinic sessions

Deliverables

• 1 Half Day Workshop (5 Hours) on Growth Hacking and Scaling + relevant tools
• Up to 3 One-On-One Clinics to up to 6 startups to help them grow their business and keep track of metrics. (Max 18 Sessions)
• A post-clinic report with recommendations and insights for every startup

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in growth with successful local or international startups
• Strong track record in growing startup organizations from different industries (fintech, edtech, real estate, groceries etc.)
• Knowledge of technology startup KPIs and growth/data visualization tools
• Scaleup experience is a plus
• Consulting, advisory, and training experience for similar programs at incubators/accelerators
