Human Resources Officer

Overview

The HR Officer plays a vital role in supporting Berytech’s HR function. This position will focus on assisting with various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in human resources.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

Recruitment

  • Managing the HRIS recruitment module, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the recruitment process by providing administrative assistance and scheduling interviews.
  • Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies and job descriptions.

Onboarding

  • Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Follow up with new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.

Employee Relations

  • Assist in handling employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Support the HR Manager in maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.

Performance Management

  • Assist in conducting performance reviews and providing administrative support.
  • Contribute to the development of performance improvement plans.

 Training and Development

  • Assist in identifying and coordinating training opportunities.
  • Maintain employee training records and certifications.

Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain employee files and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Draft contracts, employment letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a HR role
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and English, French is a plus.

Additional Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Knowledge of Lebanese labor laws and regulations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
