Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.

Scope of work

The Accelerator Program seeks an expert in communication to equip startup founders and team members with the essential branding and communication skills and strategies needed to effectively convey their message, enhance brand visibility, and achieve desired outcomes. The engagement includes a 2 one on one clinics per startup (Max 12 Sessions) covering key communication principles, techniques, and best practices relevant to startup environments.

The clinics can focus on the following subjects depending on the startup’s need

• Multi-Channel Marketing Approach: Scaling marketing across diverse channels (digital, offline, social media) based on the most effective mix for geographic and product expansion
• Localized Marketing Campaigns: Crafting marketing campaigns that resonate with new geographic markets, considering cultural differences, language, and media preference
• Learning about proper Marketing Budget allocation and how to maximize efficiency throughout channels alongside proper ROI measurement
• Create a consistent communication strategy that resonates with the company’s brand
• Learn and identify the proper KPIs relevant to each startup such SEO, PPC, NPS, Brand Awareness and how to improve them
• Select tools that can help design and distribute content such as MailChimp, Canva etc.
• Gain practical insights, data and tools for enhancing their overall Marketing Campaign

Deliverables

• Conduct 2 one on one clinics for each startup with the following outcomes:
  1. Help Startups put the right marketing plan and adhere to it
  2. Help Startups maximize their marketing ROI

• Adress any gaps in the Startup’s marketing effort

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience as a Marketing expert (All Channels). 
• Possesses strong knowledge and hands-on experience in communication
• Previous work with Startups is a plus
• Experience working with successful and known companies
• Demonstrates strong communications skills and professional credibility.
• Fluent in English.
