Presales Engineer

Your role as presales engineer is to supports the sales process. You will be BPS reference as a technology adviser to both prospective customers and representatives of currently assigned client accounts. You will commit to developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships. You are expected to understand customer requirements, determine the best solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition of those solutions.

The Presales engineer will collaborate with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The Presales Engineer is responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and/or channel supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct presentations, demos and Product workshops to partners, customers and internal team.
  • Understand the business needs of a prospect/client in order to translate that into a technical framework around the offering.
  • Provide and manage a POC in coordination with suppliers.
  • Provide solution architecture designs and solution envisioning.
  • Manage customers’ request (product inquiries, product features, possible solutions, license inquiries, feasibility study etc..).
  • Update and follow up on CRM data on the CRM platform including and not limited to data entry.
  • Ensure developing updated reports related to customer’s data, status and provide course of actions accordingly.
  • Prepare scope of work and time estimations for projects.
  • Prepare answer to bids, RFPs and RFQs.
  • Conduct needed R&D to reply to customer inquires.
  • Remain up to date in licensing models related to the assigned product portfolio.
