Overview

The Program aims to strengthen SMEs in Lebanon’s ICT and Knowledge Economy sectors by providing C-Level executives with executive education through Universities and equipping Product and Project Managers with specialized training in project and product .The program targets up to 15-20 companies and offers tailored business advisory services to enhance growth and sustainability.

Position Overview:

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Program. This includes coordinating between donor, the partner universities, and selected SMEs. The role will ensure smooth execution of educational components, business advisory services, and all program deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, sales, and a deep understanding of the tech sector.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

Program Coordination:

    • Lead and manage the overall implementation of the program, ensuring that all activities align with program objectives and deadlines.
    • Act as the primary liaison between all stakeholders, and participating SMEs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Oversee the selection process for participating companies, including screening and vetting applications.
    • Monitor the delivery of the executive education and training modules, ensuring quality and alignment with program goals.

Stakeholder Management:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and reporting to donor and other partners, providing updates on program progress and outcomes.

Business Advisory:

    • Work closely with SMEs to assess their business needs and provide tailored advisory services to support their growth.
    • Identify opportunities for SMEs to leverage their participation in the program for strategic partnerships and business expansion.

Program Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Track the performance and progress of SMEs participating in the program, including measurable outcomes such as growth, capacity-building, and market expansion.
    • Prepare and submit periodic program reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Sales & Market Development:

    • Utilize sales experience to support SMEs in identifying market opportunities, expanding customer bases, and scaling operations.
    • Provide mentorship and support to SMEs in developing go-to-market strategies and improving sales performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in project management and sales within the tech sector, with a strong track record of managing multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and English, French is a plus.

Additional Skills

  • Experience working with SMEs, particularly in the ICT and Knowledge Economy sectors.
  • Familiarity with executive education and capacity-building programs is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery of program goals.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Capacity to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong network within Lebanon’s and the Region’s ICT and tech ecosystem is an advantage.
