Technical Manager / Field Service Engineer

Overview

Daily Tasks and Duties

  • Installation of new equipment at customers’ facilities
    • Accompany suppliers’ technicians when they come for installations
    • Perform installations of machines already trained on
    • Fill out Installation Reports for company’s Technical Library
  • Routine maintenance of existing equipment / fill out Service Report
  • Troubleshooting visits/ fill out Service Report
  • Communication with suppliers about defective equipment (under warranty or damaged by use)
  • Technical assistance by phone/ WhastApp to customers
  • Training customer operators on equipment usage and proper basic maintenance practices
  • Delivering spare parts and machines to customers
  • Assisting in equipment reception from Port/ Airport
  • Reading machine manuals and getting familiar with new equipment
  • Prospection and customer sales visits as per weekly schedule: alone or with GM
  • Selling equipment or creating sales opportunities for the company
  • Assist in evaluating suppliers’ technical proposals to determine the best option for each project
  • Other duties as assigned or required, within scope of work

 

Requirements

  • BS/ Technical degree Electrical or Electro-mechanical technician
  • Minimum of 7 years experience
  • Native Arabic language, Proficient English level
  • Ability to solve technical problems efficiently
  • Good communication skills to deal with a wide variety of customers
  • Respectful and pleasant

 

Working hours

Monday to Friday

9:00 am to 5:00 pm or as needed based on jobs schedule
