Adam is a lawyer and consultant specializing in energy and environmental policies. With a robust background in legal research and consultancy, his expertise spans the energy transition, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and crisis management in the energy sector.
His recent projects involve the review of energy transition strategies for oil and gas companies in Tunisia and the development of crisis management manuals for local communities in Tunisian oil-producing regions, in partnership with international organizations like NRGI and UNDEF.
In addition to his consultancy work, Adam has conducted extensive comparative research on the energy transition in North Africa, focusing on Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco. He has also researched the Tunisian law on CSR in the extractive sector and was part of the team that proposed new oil contract models in Tunisia, contributing to the modernization of legal frameworks in this field.
Adam is a founding member and advisor of the Tunisia Energy Society and is actively involved in various research groups, including the MENA RNCC Working Group on Carbon Neutrality and the MENA RNCC Working Group on Resilient Food & Water Systems of the Hanns Seidel Stiftung. His participation in international forums such as the Ifriqiya Energy Hub in Tunisia and the IGF Mining Conference in Zambia reflects his commitment to addressing key energy challenges in the MENA region and Africa.
Adam holds advanced degrees in business law and African legal studies from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Carthage. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Rennes 1, focusing on extractive contracts in the context of the ecological transition. His work aims to foster stronger partnerships between the private sector, government, and local communities to drive sustainable energy solutions.
