After having studied Hospitality and Tourism and worked in the HoReCa sector, Anthony Chedid pursued a career within the startup ecosystem. He began his journey at a startup, then moved towards supporting companies within an accelerator environment. Being from the Bekaa and having an interest in the food value chain, he was involved in a few agricultural projects. In 2020,
Anthony joined Berytech as part of the Water & Energy for Food program, which supported 60+ innovative SMEs in eight MENA countries. As part of the core team, he coordinated the program’s backend, application process, communication with beneficiaries, procurement, monitoring, reporting, and internal management. As part of the program, Anthony lead the water accounting assignment, which estimated resources within 4 river basins in MENA and South-Southeast Asia. Today, he is a Business Advisor at the Food Systems Challenge program, with a portfolio of 40+ companies ensuring food security and innovation within the Lebanese ecosystem. Anthony has a deep satisfaction in supporting others and has dedicated his career to making a positive impact.
