Fares Abi Khalil is a trainee lawyer at Justicia Law Firm in Beirut, Lebanon, with a strong background in both international and national law. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political & Administrative Sciences and two Master’s degrees in Law from the Lebanese University. Since 2019, Fares has worked as a legal expert at Justicia Beirut Consult Law Offices, specializing in public and private international law, NGOs, legislation, and public policy. He has collaborated with UN agencies and other organizations, advising on complex legal projects and national strategies.
Fares has completed certifications from the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and The Hague Academy of International Law. As an active member of the Justicia Foundation for Development & Human Rights, he has participated in media debates on legal issues. His achievements include supporting UN projects and contributing to the re-drafting of the National Strategy of Counter-Terrorism and the National Strategy of Cyber Security.
Deeply interested in intellectual property (IP) law and innovation, Fares is particularly focused on the legal frameworks and regulations that govern these areas. Multilingual and adept at problem-solving, he is committed to justice and effective legal advocacy.
