Hala Abdallah is the DIRECTOR OF STUDIES AND COORDINATION/ Former Head of service of « Economics and Marketing of plant resources » where she provides consulting services to stakeholders to help, and find new markets for their products. Nowadays, Her duties include supervising: agricultural census, economical studies, extension and education, projects and development programs, IT and HR.
Experience
Hala has been working for a decade at the Ministry of Agriculture, and has participated in many workshops and seminars. She has written a drafted law concerning the “protection of new plant varieties” and was responsible for the drafting of the decree “Registration of wholesale markets for vegetables and fruits in the Ministry of Agriculture and its management system”. His primary interest is to boost the marketing of Agricultural products as well as all its related Economic issues. She is a contributing member in promoting Agricultural exports with the Agricultural committee of the chambers of commerce through their coordinated participation in trade fairs, was a Member of the national committee of ACAAS, and collaborating with Libnor. Recently she was a member of Mercosur negotiating committee responsible for the component of Agricultural products market access, member of trade facilitation committee, National Coordinator of the project entitled ‘Strengthening the Resilience of vulnerable small holder farm families affected by the economic crisis and COVID-19 pandemic “funded by the Canadian embassy, implemented by FAO and head of the committee of digital transformation at MOA..
She gave assistance to the drafting of the law of “Mouzaraa” and leaded a focus group for drafting several template contracts covering the different levels of the supply chain.
