Hamis Elgabry

Head of Grants and Partnerships, Mozare3

Hamis Elgabry is an AgriTech expert with over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of agriculture, innovation, and sustainability. She is a founding team member and currently serves as the Head of Grants and Partnerships at Mozare3, one of Egypt’s leading Agri-fintech startups. In her role, she leads collaboration with major development partners—including the World Bank, USAID, GIZ, WFP, and the Dutch government—to design and manage impactful projects that support smallholder farmers across Egypt.

Hamis is passionate about creating real-world solutions that empower farmers—whether through access to finance, better agricultural practices, or the adoption of climate-smart technologies. Her work focuses on improving productivity, building resilience, and helping farmers—especially in rural communities—become more financially and environmentally sustainable.

Before joining Mozare3, she was part of startups focused on advanced agricultural solutions and soilless farming, where she led work on research, innovation, and product development aimed at making farming more efficient, sustainable, and accessible. These experiences helped her build a strong foundation in AgriTech and shaped her hands-on approach to solving real-world challenges in agriculture.

Beyond her startup work, Hamis is deeply involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. She has served as a mentor, coach, and judge in various programs She’s particularly committed to supporting women entrepreneurs and building inclusive innovation spaces.

Hamis is also a proud alumna of global fellowship programs such as TechWomen, the Humphrey Fellowship, Women Take the Lead, and Generation Africa, which have helped her expand her global perspective and deepen her understanding of food systems, climate challenges, and women’s leadership.

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Management of Technology at Nile University, with a focus on agriculture technologies and innovation. At her core, Hamis believes in using AgriTech to create meaningful, long-lasting impact—putting farmers first and building partnerships that drive real change.
