The Hebron Leather and Footwear Cluster, established in 2013, is one of Palestine’s leading industrial clusters, supported by the Ministry of National Economy and the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, with funding from the French Development Agency. Rooted in a rich heritage of craftsmanship, the cluster has evolved into a modern industry known for its high-quality, durable, and competitively priced products. It brings together over 430 businesses across the entire value chain—from tanneries and chemical suppliers to designers, mold makers, manufacturers, and retailers. Representing 13.5% of Hebron’s industrial establishments, the cluster specializes in various types of footwear including work, medical, men’s, women’s, baby, and tourist shoes, as well as leather bags and tanning. Driven by a shared vision of building a borderless Palestinian, Arab, and global industry, the cluster focuses on collaboration, innovation, and adherence to international standards to strengthen its global presence and economic impact.
