Kawa Hakzi is the founder and CEO of CultiVision LTD, a company established in 2023 to advance sustainable agriculture, water management and environmental solutions in Iraq. He holds a Master’s degree in Water Science and Engineering, with a focus on sustainable development and the application of smart technologies in resource management.
His work centers on integrating remote sensing, precision irrigation, and data analytics to enhance agricultural productivity and improve the efficiency of water use in arid and semi-arid regions. A significant part of his efforts is dedicated to water accounting and capacity building, helping institutions, engineers, and farmers adopt more informed and sustainable practices in water management.
Through CultiVision, Kawa has worked closely with national and international partners, including the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, to support the digital transformation of the agricultural sector. His approach focuses on delivering practical, scalable solutions tailored to real-world challenges, aiming to make technology accessible and impactful at the local level.
Kawa continues to contribute to broader efforts in climate resilience, food security, and sustainable water resource development, combining technical knowledge with a strong commitment to field-based innovation.
