Lydia Farah is a Lebanese self-employed lawyer, operating her own law firm specializing in business law, commercial and corporate law, and banking and financial laws. She holds a BA in Law and a Master’s in Banking and Financial Laws, bringing over 19 years of extensive experience in the legal profession in Lebanon.
Known for her exceptional expertise in Banking and Financial Laws and Regulations, as well as Corporate Governance and Compliance, Lydia is recognized for her proactive approach within team environments, both as a collaborator and a leader.
Lydia excels in conducting trials on behalf of clients and drafting a wide range of contracts and legal documents fluently in Arabic, French, and English. Previously, she served as Head of the Legal Department at a major bank in Beirut. Beyond her legal career, Lydia has pursued studies in International Humanitarian Law and volunteered extensively with a prominent NGO focused on Human Rights, particularly Women’s rights.
Recently, Lydia participated in a Capacity Building Program for Intellectual Property for Lawyers, enhancing her skills in IP Rights, particularly in navigating legal processes at Technology Transfer Offices within universities.
