Marleine Daher

President, Michel Daher Social Foundation

Mrs. Marleine Daher is a dedicated social activist and visionary leader committed to transforming lives through community-driven development. In 2014, she co-founded the Michel Daher Social Foundation (MDSF), where she currently serves as President, championing sustainable development and expanding opportunities for Lebanon’s most vulnerable communities.

Under Daher’s leadership, MDSF has become a cornerstone of rural development in Lebanon, addressing critical needs through healthcare services, targeted training programs, collective weddings, and wide-reaching humanitarian efforts. She led the creation of two community healthcare centers focused on preventive care and health awareness.

Among her proudest initiatives is Takallam, a center supporting children with learning difficulties. The center offers music and drama therapy, safe spaces, and tailored interventions to help children facing trauma or learning challenges.

In the field of education and youth empowerment, Daher founded the Tech Academy, which equips vulnerable youth with STEM and digital skills, while programs like Little Techies prepare children to become future-ready innovators and leaders.

Her environmental initiative, Faker Bi2iyan, promotes climate action, the circular economy, and sustainable community practices such as waste sorting and recycling—encouraging long-term environmental responsibility.

Daher’s leadership emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact. She has aligned MDSF with EFQM excellence standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), turning it into a leading force for economic resilience in the Bekaa. Through MSME and artisan support programs, MDSF continues to drive inclusive growth and recovery.

Believing in the power of urgent action and long-term resilience, Daher leads with a holistic vision that fosters opportunity, empowerment, and meaningful change.
