Mrs. Michèle Chammas Garzouzi is the Chief Innovation Officer at MEDCO Holding, a legacy family business at the forefront of Lebanon’s petroleum sector. With a degree in International Relations from Mills College, California and as an alumna of Harvard Business School, she combines strategic vision with a deep commitment to national innovation.
At MEDCO, Chammas Garzouzi has led the development of numerous pioneering solutions in the fuel and energy sector. These include Liters Plus (Lebanon’s first smart fuel card), e-motion, Xpand Diesel, Propell gasoline with additives, MEDCO Pay, e-medco’s EV charging network, the MEDCO mobile app, and the launch of MEDCO Academy and the MEDCO Innovation Center. Her initiatives have helped MEDCO serve over 65% of Lebanon’s corporate fuel market, while advancing innovation and sustainability.
She also serves as President of Galop s.a.l., extending her leadership into the luxury industry with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.
Beyond business, Chammas Garzouzi holds board positions with several influential organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, the Beirut Marathon Association, Rebirth Beirut, the Children’s Cancer Center, and the Lebanese Arm-Wrestling Association.
