Attorney at Law

Myriam Jabre is an esteemed Attorney and Counselor at Law and the Founder and Managing Partner of Myriam Jabre Law Offices Cabinet d’Avocats. She serves as a Legal Consultant to the UNDP in Environment and Energy, where she works on consultancies such as collecting quarrying sector dues for the Lebanese state, developing SOPs for air and water pollution, addressing illegal dumping, forest fires, and illegal tree cutting, and advising on sustainable transportation projects.

Additionally, Myriam Jabre has been a Legal Consultant for UNESCO’s Media Law project in collaboration with an international expert from 2022 to 2023. She is also an appointed Arbitrator at the CCIArb.

With extensive experience in both international and local laws, Myriam handles complex litigations involving politically exposed persons (PEPs). She provides legal advice to various companies across fields including IT, F&B, industries, engineering, contracting, and pharma. Furthermore, she offers legal counseling to several NGOs and coaches startups in collaboration with Berytech and the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB).

Myriam drafted the Women on Board project law for the Lebanese League for Women in Business, advocating for 30% female representation on boards of SAL companies.

She holds a DEA in Comparative Law from La Sagesse University (with high distinction) in 2006 and a Bachelor of Law (License en droit) from Université Saint Joseph (USJ) in 2003. Myriam has also completed the Intellectual Property Right certification with Lebanon Innovate, Berytech, and EBN.

Active in humanitarian and community services, Myriam is politically engaged, advocating for better citizenship and reforms. She ran for the parliamentary elections with the opposition in May 2022 as a member of the Nawha al Dawla list in the Metn district.
