Philippe Carette is an accomplished international development and humanitarian expert with over 25 years of experience across sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle-East. He currently serves as the Chief of Party for the BASATINE project in Lebanon, a multi-million-dollar program funded by l’Agence Française de Dévelopement. He worked as the Country Director for multiple organizations, where he managed complex portfolios overseeing multi-million-dollar programs in food security, agriculture, nutrition, and market development, and led strategic shifts from humanitarian aid to long-term development programming. He also worked as consultant leading multi-country multi-annual project designs and as technical Advisor on small entrepreneurship, agricultural production, and market-based approaches.
