Established in 2020, PRESERVA is a Lebanese establishment that aims to empower women in rural areas and promote sustainable food processing. With a central kitchen located in Beit Merry, PRESERVA operates in the Chouf, Beqaa, El Dennyeh, and Akkar regions, with Joumana Adaimi serving as the dedicated manager since 2020. Their team comprises five full-time employees committed to the company’s mission of supporting women in local communities by providing them with tools and incentives to strengthen their businesses, starting from the agricultural phase while experts offer them training on sustainable agriculture techniques.
PRESERVA handles bottling, packaging, labeling, marketing, and distribution, ensuring both quality and compliance. Their diverse range of end products includes jams, syrups, pickles, dried fruits and vegetables, distilled liquids, molasses, sesame, freekeh, herbs and thyme, and olive derivatives like olive oil, soap, and olives. These processes are carried out locally at farmers’ premises and at PRESERVA’s central kitchen warehouse in Chouf and Beit Merry. Sold under the “”Kamoonة”” brand, their high-quality products are available in 30 points of sale across Lebanon and abroad, contributing to local community growth and promoting sustainable food processing practices.
