Ramy Boujawdeh

Chief Operating Officer, Berytech

Ramy Boujawdeh is the Chief Operating Officer at Berytech, where he has been a key force since 2014 in building and leading the organization’s incubation and entrepreneurship development programs. He oversees support services for innovative Lebanese startups and SMEs, including business support, mentorship, coaching, fundraising, internationalization, and access to networks and resources. 

He designed and leads the A.C.T. Smart Innovation Hub, the first initiative of its kind in MENA focused on Agri-Food and Clean Technology innovation. He also serves as the Regional Innovation Hub (RIH) Manager for the MENA region under the global Water and Energy for Food (WE4F) challenge fund. 

Between 2000 and 2014, Boujawdeh gained international experience across three continents in change management, operations, and quality systems, holding general and regional management roles in various industries. He brings this cross-sectoral knowledge to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and currently advises Lebanese startups and serves as an angel investor with SEEDERS. 

He is Vice President of Rural Entrepreneurs, a board member representing non-EU countries on the European Business & Innovation Centers Network (EBN), a council member at the Order of Engineers and Architects, and serves on the External Advisory Board of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science at AUB. 

Boujawdeh holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a master’s degree in Business Management and Economics. A dual Lebanese-Canadian citizen, he is married with four daughters and is passionate about gardening and farming, producing healthy food for his family.
