Sustainability Ambassador for United People Global

I am an environmental management professional with a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of the West of England (UWE), UK, and extensive experience in climate action, sustainability practices, and policy advocacy. My work with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has involved contributions to high-level discussions on the role of nuclear energy in mitigating climate change. In this capacity, I played a key role in policy development and strategic planning for major global events such as COP28, where I advocated for nuclear energy’s inclusion in the global net-zero emissions strategy.

My collaboration with the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) in the UK has allowed me to drive sustainability initiatives across higher education. Through focused research, training programs, and advocacy work, I advanced climate literacy initiatives aimed at empowering students and faculty to champion environmental change. Additionally, as a certified Green Impact Environmental Auditor, I bring hands-on expertise in assessing and enhancing environmental practices within organizations, further reinforcing my commitment to measurable and impactful sustainability.

In my role as a Sustainability Ambassador with United People Global, I have led diverse advocacy and outreach initiatives promoting climate justice and sustainable development. This experience has honed my skills in public engagement, strategic networking, and community mobilization. Furthermore, my active participation as a delegate from Jordan in the Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) MENA connected me with youth leaders across the Middle East and North Africa, deepening my understanding of the region’s unique climate challenges and opportunities. These experiences have equipped me with insights I am eager to contribute to the MENAKH Climate Forum, where I aim to drive impactful, region-specific solutions for climate resilience and sustainable development.
