Said R. Gedeon holds an MBA Executive in Management from IAE Panthéon Sorbonne University, Paris Dauphine University, and St. Joseph University (USJ), along with a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from ESIAM – St. Joseph University of Beirut. He currently serves as the Deputy General Manager and Head of the Services and Agricultural Development Department at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Zahle – Bekaa in Lebanon.
In this role, Said focuses on managing and coordinating development projects funded by international donors aimed at supporting the local economy in the Bekaa Valley. He supervises agricultural extension services for producers, cooperatives, and exporters, as well as laboratory services that provide accredited tests for agro-food industries. Additionally, he is involved in delivering business development services to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Said has also contributed to several publications, including studies on the value chain of fresh fruits and vegetables in Lebanon, agricultural development strategies, and feasibility studies for agro-food processing units. He is a member of the Zahle Municipal Council and serves on the board of ESIAM-USJ Alumni.
