Wave Bike, founded in 2021, is a monthly electric bike subscription service tailored to the realities of urban commuting in Lebanon and across the MENA region. Its e-bikes are engineered for the conditions of Beirut and similarly dense urban environments, prioritizing durability, safety, and reliability. The all-inclusive subscription model covers maintenance, theft, and customer support, making sustainable mobility accessible without the burden of ownership. Wave has grown to a community of more than 200 members, with demand continuing to increase as commuters seek cleaner and more practical transportation alternatives. The company plans to expand its fleet in Lebanon and scale operations to a new city in its next phase of growth. By replacing short-distance car and motorbike trips, Wave contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions, traffic congestion, and noise pollution while enhancing overall urban quality of life.
