Chantale joined Berytech in September 2020 as QOOT Cluster Officer under the ACT Smart Innovation Hub Initiative. With a background in the agri-food sector, she finds QOOT’s mission to match perfectly with her own vision.
Chantale acquired her agri-food engineering diploma at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut and had the opportunity to gain a scholarship to follow an exchange program with SupAgro Montpellier – France and obtain a specialization in agri-food industry performance and risk.
Currently, she is responsible for providing operational and administrative assistance to the QOOT Cluster, ensuring follow up with the members and successful coordination and implementation of the various activities.
Chantale managed to get internships in some of the leading companies in Lebanon such as Almaza, SMLC PepsiCo and Gandour for her to gain full knowledge about the insights of food industries, the challenges and how things work.
She finds her passion in helping people and in creating a more sustainable future. She engaged in different humanitarian activities, such as being a proud scout member and leader, and was a volunteer in the Donner Sang Compter NGO for two years.
Chantale is passionate about all activities in nature including hiking, biking and camping as well as in discovering new places and travelling.
