Elie Elias joined Berytech in December 2025 as a Program Officer for the Water and Energy for Food (WE4F) program, where he assists in developing and monitoring work plans, operational deliverables, and project-related reports.
He holds a degree in Business Management from the Lebanese American University. Elie previously contributed to the growth of a Lebanese startup providing agricultural services in permaculture, where he developed hands-on experience in operations and supported the management of projects related to sustainable farming practices.
This exposure strengthened his interest in agriculture and the agrifood sector, leading him to pursue a Master’s degree in Agri-Food Technology from the University of Lincoln in the United Kingdom, from which he graduated with distinction. His Master’s thesis, titled “The Future of Avocado Supply Chain in Lebanon: A Case Study of a Family Business Farm,” explored the future of avocado production in Lebanon, with a focus on sustainability and the development of supply chains that support small-scale family farms.
Outside of the office, Elie loves to travel, explore new cultures, and spend quality time with family and friends. His passion for mixed martial arts has brought him peace, discipline, and confidence… Elie never skips the gym!
