Ghiwa joined Berytech in August 2024 as a Programs Coordinator under the ACT Smart Innovation Hub and currently serves as a Senior Programs Coordinator, supporting entrepreneurs and startups through the different phases of Berytech’s accelerator, incubation and other programs. Through her role, she works closely with innovators, experts, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to support the growth of startups operating in the agrifood, cleantech, and green sectors. Her work focuses on program management, startup growth support, stakeholder coordination, and the development of tailored entrepreneurial support initiatives.
Ghiwa holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Lebanese University (LU). She also completed a Professional Graduate Diploma in Project Management at the American University of Beirut (AUB), in addition to the Executive Program in Agrifood Innovation at the Professional Training Center of Saint Joseph University (USJ).
Before joining Berytech, Ghiwa built her professional experience across both the private sector and the development field. She worked as a Business Portfolio Assistant for the Agriculture and Rural Empowerment Activity, where she supported private sector companies in strengthening their operations and contributed to the development of several agricultural value chains in Lebanon. Prior to that, she served as a Project Coordinator at a local NGO, supporting the implementation of large-scale research and development projects focused on socioeconomic development, local governance, public policy, and advocacy. Through these experiences, she developed a strong interest in designing impactful programs that empower individuals and support sustainable development.
Beyond her professional work, Ghiwa is passionate about environmental and public space preservation, particularly efforts focused on protecting the accessibility of the Lebanese public coast for future generations.
In her free time, she enjoys staying active through fitness, discovering new places across Lebanon, and going on road trips with friends.
