Marie Rose joined Berytech in January 2022, as a Senior Program Officer for the ACT Smart Innovation Hub.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Notre Dame University (NDU). She has three years of experience in the environmental sector and more specifically in the WaSH and waste management sectors. Working with startups allowed her to wear different ‘hats’; going from being the design, site, and cost estimation engineer to the mechanical and electrical engineer. She lead projects and helped the team reach their goals.
Marie Rose worked in the four different startups, each in a different field and business stage; especially in the WaSH and waste management sector. She overcame many challenges during her exposure in the startup world and provided innovative solutions to their unique problems.
Finally, in July 2020 she co-founded a startup named “Reborn” that is a graduate of Berytech’s Cleanergy Batch 1 accelerator program. The purpose of the startup is to provide innovative sustainable solutions in the production and material of activewear for female athletes.
She finds her daily dose of happiness by meeting new people and helping them. She is resourceful and thoroughly enjoys finding solutions for challenges. Finally, her passion for food goes far beyond words.
