Najib Zbeidy joined Berytech in September 2024 as an Investment Specialist.
Najib is a graduate of Université Saint-Joseph with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in Banking and Finance.
Najib’s career began with Safilo Group-Italy, where he served as an Area Sales Manager for the Middle East.
Prior to his tenure at Berytech, Najib served as Senior Financial Institutions and Corporate Credit Analyst at Bank of Beirut SAL.
Here, he evaluated the creditworthiness of banks across a diverse portfolio that spans Africa, Europe, USA, UK, and Asia. He performed detailed quantitative assessments alongside qualitative analyses, prepared credit recommendations for senior committees and supported risk management.
In addition to the above, he evaluated the creditworthiness of Corporates, SMEs, and middle-market segments; ensuring that credit proposals adhere to the bank’s policies, analyzed financial data, monitored loan portfolios. His recommendations helped guide critical decisions regarding loan modifications and restructuring to mitigate potential losses.
In his free time Najib is a nature enthusiast who finds solace and inspiration in the great outdoors and maintains an active lifestyle.
