Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer

Rasha Zayour joined Berytech in November 2024 and currently serves as the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer. She holds an architecture degree from the Lebanese American University, where she dedicated her academic journey to projects focused on enhancing conditions in refugee camps and slums across Lebanon, aiming to create sustainable solutions that address the unique challenges faced by these communities.

After graduating, Rasha discovered her true passion lay in research and community development. This realization led her to shift her career focus to areas that align with her values and aspirations. She is now devoted to driving positive change in communities by using research as a tool to understand and address people’s needs effectively.

Before joining Berytech, Rasha worked as a Researcher and M&E Consultant with esteemed organizations and institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Beirut Urban Lab, IRC, UN-Habitat, and Deutsche Welthungerhilfe. Through roles spanning the built environment and socio-economic sectors, she contributed to projects via data analysis, surveying, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Outside her professional endeavors, Rasha enjoys bonding with nature, taking beach walks, and sharing coffee moments with friends. A professional snack enthusiast, her snack drawer is always open to anyone in need of a sweet treat!
