Sharif Farhat joined Berytech in January 2026 as the Program Officer for the Food System Challenge (FSC) program. He holds a degree in Geography with a specialization in environment and landscape management from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ).
He has a diverse background, ranging from working as a researcher on Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Audits (EA) during his years at Geoflint, to serving as a Tender and Operations Officer at Valeocare, where he worked closely with NGOs and SMEs.
Sharif is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and business solutions applied to societal, developmental, and environmental challenges. This passion led him to Berytech, the hub of entrepreneurship, where he feels he can leave a positive impact on the community.
Sharif enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking in nature, and swimming whenever possible. He believes that nature helps people find peace and serenity. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as reading, learning new things, and watching movies.
