Wadih joined Berytech in December 2021 as a Program Manager for the BASATINE program.
With over 10 years of experience, Wadih gained a diversified set of technical and managerial skills in the areas of food production, operations, sales, and marketing throughout his career.
Wadih graduated as a food processing engineer from the Université Saint Joseph (USJ) and specialized in production optimization from the Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais in 2009. Being a strong believer in the agri-food sector in Lebanon and driven by his desire to support agri-businesses he took up several positions across the value chain in order to gain the required experience to support SMEs.
After being immersed in social work and program development in the United Kingdom and several European countries for 2 years, Wadih moved back to Lebanon to lead the production in a sugar confectionery factory, after which he established the trade marketing department of a reputable FMCG company and directed its sales operations.
In 2020, Wadih co-founded “Fertaike”, an agri-food startup producing dairy products and confit giving him first-hand experience on the challenges Lebanese entrepreneurs face.
Wadih is an artist at heart and passionate about music. He sings, writes songs, loves hiking and psychoanalysis.
