Berytech Ideathons: Agriculture, Food, Water, Energy, Waste

Berytech, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lebanon, has been leading on sourcing agri-food innovations from Lebanon for the past two years through the Agrytech Program. For this upcoming year, Berytech will be organizing several events related to the Agri-Food sector in different regions in Lebanon, you might be interested to partner with us.

 

This year, and in order to educate, support and empower people by initiating them to entrepreneurship and the opportunities that exist in the fields of food, renewable energy, waste, water, and agriculture, Berytech will be organizing three ideathons covering three different regions in Lebanon and partnering up with different universities.

 

The Berytech Ideathons

We will be running three Ideathons in

• North Lebanon – University of Balamand Koura Campus (8-9-10 March),
• Mount Lebanon – Lebanese American University Jbeil (22-23-24 March) and
• Bekaa (12-13-14 April, 2019).

 

The weekends will target participants working on innovations in agritech, cleantech, renewable energy, waste, and water to encourage and support their idea at an early stage. Participants will be able to pitch their idea, form a team, validate their idea and receive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, experts as well as Berytech mentors, all in one weekend.
