Cluster 4 Green is a project funded by the European Union under the under the Eni CBC MED Program to support and encourage the creation of economic opportunities through the promotion and development of the Mediterranean Circular Economy.
The objective of this program is to support MSMEs in adopting Circular Economy innovation processes and in establishing national and international consolidated collaboration agreements including the building of Public-Private Partnerships.
CLUSTER4GREEN’s ambition in terms of impact is of the outmost importance, neither more nor less than addressing one of the biggest challenges of the Mediterranean area: create new economic opportunities that translate into the most precious good, jobs. Through this goal, the project is well armed to contribute to it. The green “weapon” that the project will use to generate growth is the activation of actual and practical Public-Private Partnerships that will trigger effective green entrepreneurships based on circular economy sound business models. By raising the capacities of entrepreneurs to sustainably go greener and the capacities of the public and private authorities to frame and fund greener, the Mediterranean ecosystem will be more ready than ever to generate green businesses and green jobs.

As part of the C4G activities, a series of events will be organized and implemented aiming at bringing together stakeholders to discuss about the importance of CLUSTER4GREEN model catalyzing and aggregating investment management strategies and circular economy practices at the ENI Med area, and in Lebanon in particular.
During this third IN PERSON event, participants will be given the chance to attend testimonies given by impactful Lebanese companies that have integrated circularity at the core of their business models. Companies will share their experiences, talk about the challenges they faced, the benefits they gained, and how circularity is impacting their production and consequently their carbon footprint. Learn how these successful businesses are saving the environment all while optimizing their line of production!
Following the testimonies/presentations, a workshop will be organized as part of the CLUSTER4GREEN activities which targets smaller businesses that could potentially integrate circular/more circular approaches in their business models. The workshop will be orchestrated by circular economy and sustainability expert Dalida Sneifer and will be inspired by the previous testimonies and experiences.
The participants will engage in a practical workshop whereby they will carry out a hands-on exercise and receive guidance from a technical expert to turn their business models into more sustainable and more circular ones. The exercise will be human-centered, the outline and steps will be elaborated, and the outcome will be tailored to every company’s needs.
During this workshop, participants will not only get the chance to brainstorm together and share knowledge with other like-minded people, but they will also get the chance to learn about the best practices from pioneers in circular economy and potentially apply them in their own businesses.
The workshop will be followed by a networking event featuring small bites and refreshments.
The third Cluster4Green Workshop, organized by Berytech, will take place on March 20th, 2023, at Berytech Mar Roukoz from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm.
