For this session, Constantin Salameh – who has a 35-year track record in funding and transforming corporations, SMEs and startups across the world, will present the definition and negotiation process for a term-sheet (both debt and equity). He will share examples of good and bad term sheets and the key takeaways. You will hear the perspective from both investors and entrepreneurs who went through term sheet negotiation and closure.

  • What are the different elements in a term-sheet?
  • Examples of bad term sheets and how best to negotiate them
  • What are the different types of term-sheets?
  • How do I best prepare to negotiate a good term-sheet?

About the Presenter

Constantin is Senior Coach and Investment Advisor with Berytech, providing financial and management advisory services to several companies in Lebanon. He has a 35-year track record in funding, developing and transforming corporations, SMEs and startups across the world.

He was previously CEO of HP Financial Services in EMEA and Asia Pacific and the CEO of global investment groups such as Safinvest, AMS Group and Al-Ghurair Investments. He joined Stanford’s Graduate School of Business SEED Program in 2015 and provides advisory services to social SMEs in both East and West Africa. He has invested in several high potential and high social impact.
