1001 Business Ideas

To support and recover from the crisis and get back even better into a newly built economy, PUM designed a series of 3 Wopinars in the context of 1001 Business Ideas. In our perspective a Wopinar is the mix of a remote webinar and workshop, combined in one 3 session-Wopinar. By the repeated commitment and high interaction of participants, the effect of the Wopinar should be boosting not only the thinking, but especially the cooperative achievement in the company. The series of 3 main topics in this Wopinar about 1001 Business Ideas is to generate inspiration, making use of foreseeing trends and energizing entrepreneurial initiatives to create a new perspective for the future. We think that disruptive entrepreneurship is the way out of poverty and stimulates creativity for companies and collaboration towards even improved and future-proof new perspectives in business. Thus, contributing to the society and economy.

Most certainly, after the Wopinar, participants can apply for individual in depth PUM help of senior experts, by remote coaching initially (due to travel restrictions), and eventually, post-Covid, for in-country hands on advice.

Let us energize you in the 3 main topics, interaction and content designed and programmed.

Your experience journey

The execution and participation of all 3 Wopinars is meant to grow commitment in subjects, in business ideas, in collaboration among at most 20 participants. We group and facilitate you in the group with information and workbooks. PUM aligned all subjects and multiple ideas towards the most practical sense giving and impact for your company. At first you feel overwhelmed with all the ideas. Then you start selecting what is in it for you. You will discover the message of strategic thinking. In the interaction others will inspire you and you feel like cooperative companions in innovation to take the next step towards a new future.

Handout

After each of the three Wopinars you (of course) will receive (download) the presentation and a handout that facilitates you to read at ease in a depth reader. This you share with your staff or team to become a roadmap for change. The three handouts are follow-up documents and are lined up. Keep in mind: no attendance, no handout!

What to achieve

  • 1 Viable business idea for each participant
  • Energy for boosting your business and workers
  • Networking, growing friends and stimulating cooperation
  • Future perspective and hope for economic progress and help.

Whom to attend

PUM want to meet 30 businesspeople (SME’s) that need to steal even more than a new and fresh viable business idea. PUM want to meet committed people that are convinced that disruption is needed, to bring the necessary change as an example for progress to their company and sector. Businesspeople that, as true leaders, are determined to involve their staff in the new movement. PUM also invite young and entrepreneurial students as counterparts and start-ups to connect insights to build the fresh future.

Fred de Boer, PUM senior expert

“A new future starts as from today. On this path you do not make success into your goal. Venture because you love to and believe in it. Work hard with vision, express your passion. Then success and good business will cross your road automatically”

This symbolizes the energy that Fred exposes. If you ask him if he loves his work? He clearly answers: “It is my life! In the over 30 years of consulting experience, meeting so many innovative people, entrepreneurial ideas and initiatives, my experiences evolved. To share this inspiration of lifelong learning with emerging economies fascinates and drives me. I know how to work this out into strategies, tactical plans and operational approach for many SME companies in the Netherlands as in Middle East, Asian, South American and African countries. Building connections between government, knowledge institutions and entrepreneurs and making them contributive in their needed sustainable results, lies within my competence and focus of work. This matches to the challenge in this newly designed Wopinars, to improve operational efficiency, build managerial capacity, increase outreach and create diversity in member services.”

Fred is a self-employed entrepreneur himself. In his profession as a business developer and executive coach he enthuses entrepreneurs throughout the international world. He mainly focusses on the performance of companies in the outer excellence environment, addressing strategy, management, marketing, sales and internationalization.
