Byblos

First Day: Gathering at 8 in Byblos

• Visit of Enfeh Salt pans
• Visit of some cultural sites
• Learn how to extract fossils

Target: explain; the wind turbines, the benefits of the natural resources such as water and the importance of preserving the natural areas.

Second Day:

• Caving
• Visits of natural sites  in Tannourine
• Hiking

Target: show and explain the solar street lighting concepts and how they don’t pollute nor ruin the natural sites along with the existing biodiversity and the importance of preserving it

Third Day:

• games regarding photovoltaic systems
• visit of a green winery that works on solar energy in batroun

end of the program in Byblos at 5pm

the program will cover:

• 2 breakfasts
• 3 lunches
• 2 dinners

We will stay at “Douma Hotel”

Students and teachers will have to bring with them:

• cap
• Sun screen protection
• Tennis Shoes / sneakers (2 pairs because they might need to change after the caving)
• Sportswear for 3 days
• Sweatshirt for the evening / jacket
• Water bottle (gourde)
• Small backpack to be taken with them when we leave to hotel for the activities
